KCUCS Doctors hold to the fundamental principles of Chiro­practic regarding the intellectual power or Innate Intelligence that flows through the body, giving it motion and life, from above-down-inside-out in the form of the mental impulse. The KCUCS teaches in its Neurology Module that the seat of con­trol for the brain and body is intimately connected to the Brain Stem. It is because of the Upper Cervical Spine's unique posi­tion relative to the Brain Stem that a misalignment in this area can be detrimental to life and health.
