Our mission at KCUCS is: "Equipping Doctors to bring Upper Cervical Care to the Nations". Our strategy to accomplish this awesome task is to develop leaders by instilling the Science, Art and Philosophy of Specific Chiropractic in our certification candidates. These candidates and future leaders will become Specific Chiropractors and achieve Specific Chiropractic results. They, in turn, will rise up and develop others called to Specific Chiropractic.

For over 25 years, Chiropractic researchers studied the effects of upper cervical articular misalignments. At the conclusion of this critical research, it was determined that the Atlas and Axis have a profound effect on the brainstem and the nervous system. Our name, KCUCS, is derived from this rich history and research given to us by our Chiropractic forefathers. "Knee Chest" refers to the position that a patient assumes during this Chiropractic procedure. "Upper Cervical Specific" refers to the specific attention paid to the upper cervical spine and its relationship to overall health.
